South Africa

I was born in South Africa but have always had travel in my veins. I lived in Thailand where I taught English for four years and had the opportunity to explore the country fully and immerse myself in the culture. I lived the island life mostly but have returned to my home, Cape Town - one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I developed a love for writing when I was young. I then went on to study Public Relations Management, which developed my writing skills in all aspects. I have published a few articles in print and online. I love different cultures and learning how other's see the world. In my free time, I am an artist who paints in fine detail.

Gavin Belson started out with lofty goals too, but he just kept excusing immoral behavior just like this, until one day all that was left was a sad man with funny shoes... Disgraced, friendless, and engorged with the blood of a youthful charlatan.

Renowned for its ship-wrecks, brown hyenas, jackals, side-winders and seals, the Skeleton Coast is infamous for its harsh, unfriendly terrain and extreme climate. It's an area rarely frequented by even the most experienced vehicle-bound adventurers, but CPUT's Anette Grobler from the Department of Student Affairs begins her month-long solo quest to walk the coastline this weekend - all in aid of a good cause.
